Richard the Blind Patriot

I wanted to create a menacing villain character portrait. I didn’t want you to be able to see his eyes and so his mask covers half his face, with two big crosses over his eyes. His mask colours and crosses were both inspired by the Union Jack which is why one is ‘+’ and the other ‘x’. His smile is also strange and off putting with crooked and missing teeth.

He was sculpted in zbrush and textured in substance painter then brought into blender to light and render and compiled in photoshop.
